Built for Ben.
Built for you.

How a conversation with a friend turned into an app for ADHD brains.

The Beginning

A few years back, my mate Ben was struggling. He has ADHD. He works five days a week, he's studying, and he'd just had a baby. Life was moving fast, and he was drowning. He couldn't focus on what mattered. He couldn't get started on things. And — this one always made me laugh — he could never remember to call me back.

Research & Real Talk

I did some research. I talked to Ben whenever I could about what he was actually struggling with — not the productivity-guru stuff, but the real problems. What would actually help him manage his tasks? What would let him keep focus? What did he need?

The conversations revealed something important: Ben didn't need to "try harder." He needed a tool that worked with his brain, not against it.

ForBen → Nudge

So I built an app specifically for him. Just Ben. We called it ForBen. It had task suggestions. A timeline so he could see his day. Focus timers. Things that actually mattered to him.

After a while, Ben said something that changed everything: "I think this is actually good. I think it would help other people like me."

So we kept building. We added body doubling. We added gamification and streaks. We added ambient sounds for focus. And we renamed it Nudge — because sometimes that's all you need.

What We Know

ADHD isn't laziness. It's not a failure of willpower. It's not "you need to work harder."

It's a difficulty keeping focus. It's getting started. It's those moments when your brain says "nope, can't be stuffed" and you freeze.

Nudge helps with all of that. But here's the catch: you have to actually use it. You have to be consistent. I've seen the results with Ben. It works.

Give It a Go

Download Nudge. It's free — no credit card, no tricks. Core features are yours forever. If it's not your thing, that's okay.

But the fact that you installed it and had a go? That means something. That means you want to change. You want a sense of achievement. You want to feel like you've got your life together, even a little bit.

That's the real win. And Nudge is here to help you get there.

You've got this. 🧠

P.S. — Ben still forgets to call me. But now it's weeks in between, not months.
